Description

Hour nine. The stall hits.
The temp hasn't moved in two hours, guests arrive in three, and every instinct says crank the offset.
Wrap it? Ride it out? Trust the fire?
The pitmaster opens another split, closes the lid and decides to wait.

Heavyweight cotton that feels broken in, not worn out. Vintage-style print for a classic way of cooking.

Why You'll Love It
• Heavyweight, preshrunk cotton (heather colors are a cotton blend)
• Classic relaxed fit. Between sizes? Size up
• Double-needle stitching at the collar, sleeves and hem
• Black S–5XL · Graphite Heather S–5XL · Military Green S–4XL · Dark Heather S–3XL
• The gift for the one who's never met a brisket they wouldn't gamble a Saturday on

It Brings People Together
Every brisket cook has a war story: the one that stalled for six hours, the one that finished at midnight, the one that came off perfect with ten minutes to spare. Get two of them talking and the stories never end. That's half the fun of the risk.

Bigger Than BBQ
The pit gave our founder, a U.S. Army veteran, something he couldn't find anywhere else: purpose. 10% of net profits help other veterans find theirs.

Push through the stall. Trust the bark. Earn the slice.

Want it warmer? This design also comes as a vintage hoodie.

BBQ ISN'T JUST COOKING.

IT'S A PERSONALITY.

You know the difference between a smoke ring and a grill mark. You've pulled an all-nighter for a brisket. You've explained "the stall" to someone who didn't get it — and never will.

This gear is for you. Built by a pitmaster, worn by one too.

🔥 Heavyweight cotton — built to handle heat, smoke, and whatever you spill at 2 AM

🇺🇸 Printed in the USA — every order supports American jobs and American craft

🛡️ 365-day guarantee — we stand behind our gear longer than most people stand at their smoker

From the pit to a purpose

I'm Sean, a U.S. Army veteran and pitmaster of Risky Brisket Championship BBQ. After six years in the Army, BBQ became my therapy: the patience, the fire, the process. Eighteen years on the competition circuit later, I design every piece of Meat Sweats gear and wear-test it at contests and classes before it ever hits the site.

Today, 10% of net profits go directly to veteran mental health charities, because no one who served should fight alone. Every piece of gear you buy helps veterans get access to culinary arts as PTSD therapy through our 501(c)(3) charities.
