Description

Somebody walks past the smoker and stops cold.
The bark, the smoke ring, the way the fat's rendered just right.
There's only one thing to say, and everybody at the pit is already thinking it.
I'd smoke that. Then they do.

Heavyweight cotton that feels broken in, not worn out. Red, white and smoke, built for backyards from coast to coast.

Why You'll Love It
• Heavyweight, preshrunk cotton (heather and grey colors are cotton blends)
• Classic relaxed fit. Between sizes? Size up
• Double-needle stitching at the collar, sleeves and hem
• Black S–5XL · Graphite Heather S–5XL · Sport Grey S–5XL · Red S–5XL · Military Green S–4XL · Dark Heather S–3XL
• The gift for the one who sizes up every cut at the butcher counter

It Brings People Together
There's a whole country of people who light a fire, wait all day and feed whoever shows up. Different woods, different rubs, different sauces depending on where you grew up. Put any two of them at the same pit, though, and they'll be talking like old friends in five minutes.

Bigger Than BBQ
The pit gave our founder, a U.S. Army veteran, something he couldn't find anywhere else: purpose. 10% of net profits help other veterans find theirs.

Spot it. Smoke it. Share it.

Want it warmer? This design also comes as a hoodie. Prefer the pig? Shop the original I'd Smoke That tee.

BBQ ISN'T JUST COOKING.

IT'S A PERSONALITY.

You know the difference between a smoke ring and a grill mark. You've pulled an all-nighter for a brisket. You've explained "the stall" to someone who didn't get it — and never will.

This gear is for you. Built by a pitmaster, worn by one too.

🔥 Heavyweight cotton — built to handle heat, smoke, and whatever you spill at 2 AM

🇺🇸 Printed in the USA — every order supports American jobs and American craft

🛡️ 365-day guarantee — we stand behind our gear longer than most people stand at their smoker

From the pit to a purpose

I'm Sean, a U.S. Army veteran and pitmaster of Risky Brisket Championship BBQ. After six years in the Army, BBQ became my therapy: the patience, the fire, the process. Eighteen years on the competition circuit later, I design every piece of Meat Sweats gear and wear-test it at contests and classes before it ever hits the site.

Today, 10% of net profits go directly to veteran mental health charities, because no one who served should fight alone. Every piece of gear you buy helps veterans get access to culinary arts as PTSD therapy through our 501(c)(3) charities.
