Description

There's a line nobody crosses.
It runs about three feet from the grill, and every kid in the family knows exactly where it is.
On the other side: Dad, the tongs, and a running commentary on how the burgers are coming along.
Someday they'll be allowed past the line. Not today.

Heavyweight cotton that feels broken in, not worn out. Built for backyard birthdays, ballgame cookouts and every Saturday in between.

Why You'll Love It
• Heavyweight, preshrunk cotton
• Classic relaxed fit, sizes S–5XL. Between sizes? Size up
• Double-needle stitching at the collar, sleeves and hem
• The gift from the kids that Dad will actually wear

It Brings People Together
The grill is where a lot of families learn their first lessons: wait your turn, don't touch what's hot, and the cook always gets the first bite. Those afternoons stick. Years later, the kids who stood behind the line are the ones lighting their own grills and saying "stand back."

Bigger Than BBQ
The pit gave our founder, a U.S. Army veteran, something he couldn't find anywhere else: purpose. 10% of net profits help other veterans find theirs.

Stand back. Dig in. Thank the cook.

Want it warmer? This design also comes as a hoodie.

BBQ ISN'T JUST COOKING.

IT'S A PERSONALITY.

You know the difference between a smoke ring and a grill mark. You've pulled an all-nighter for a brisket. You've explained "the stall" to someone who didn't get it — and never will.

This gear is for you. Built by a pitmaster, worn by one too.

🔥 Heavyweight cotton — built to handle heat, smoke, and whatever you spill at 2 AM

🇺🇸 Printed in the USA — every order supports American jobs and American craft

🛡️ 365-day guarantee — we stand behind our gear longer than most people stand at their smoker

The guy behind the gear

From the pit to a purpose

I'm Sean, a U.S. Army veteran and pitmaster of Risky Brisket Championship BBQ. After six years in the Army, BBQ became my therapy: the patience, the fire, the process. Eighteen years on the competition circuit later, I design every piece of Meat Sweats gear and wear-test it at contests and classes before it ever hits the site.

Today, 10% of net profits go directly to veteran mental health charities, because no one who served should fight alone. Every piece of gear you buy helps veterans get access to culinary arts as PTSD therapy through our 501(c)(3) charities.
