Description

A paper-lined tray. A stack of white bread. Pickles and onions on the side.
A few slices of fatty brisket, still steaming, glistening under the light.
No fancy plating, no forks required.
Some of life's best moments come wrapped in butcher paper.

Heavyweight cotton that feels broken in, not worn out. A retro-style classic for anyone who appreciates the simple things.

Why You'll Love It
• Heavyweight, preshrunk cotton
• Classic relaxed fit. Between sizes? Size up
• Double-needle stitching at the collar, sleeves and hem
• Black · Red · White, all in S–5XL
• The gift for the one who'd drive two hours for the right barbecue joint

It Brings People Together
The best barbecue joints feel like a family reunion with strangers. Long tables, shared benches, people leaning over to see what everyone else ordered. Somewhere between the first bite and the last napkin, everybody at the table becomes friends.

Bigger Than BBQ
The pit gave our founder, a U.S. Army veteran, something he couldn't find anywhere else: purpose. 10% of net profits help other veterans find theirs.

Grab a tray. Slow down. Enjoy brisket.

IT'S A PERSONALITY.

You know the difference between a smoke ring and a grill mark. You've pulled an all-nighter for a brisket. You've explained "the stall" to someone who didn't get it — and never will.

This gear is for you. Built by a pitmaster, worn by one too.

🔥 Heavyweight cotton — built to handle heat, smoke, and whatever you spill at 2 AM

🇺🇸 Printed in the USA — every order supports American jobs and American craft

🛡️ 365-day guarantee — we stand behind our gear longer than most people stand at their smoker

From the pit to a purpose

I'm Sean, a U.S. Army veteran and pitmaster of Risky Brisket Championship BBQ. After six years in the Army, BBQ became my therapy: the patience, the fire, the process. Eighteen years on the competition circuit later, I design every piece of Meat Sweats gear and wear-test it at contests and classes before it ever hits the site.

Today, 10% of net profits go directly to veteran mental health charities, because no one who served should fight alone. Every piece of gear you buy helps veterans get access to culinary arts as PTSD therapy through our 501(c)(3) charities.
